Breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly cooked options that exceeded my expectations. the hotel is set on a small hill, making it a bit of a trek from the train station. there were occasional noise disturbances from outside, which could be addressed for a quieter stay. Despite these minor inconveniences, I enjoyed my overall experience and would happily return.

Solo travelers, cozy and clean

Good size rooms, very comfortable, clean, warm. Breakfast was above expectation with cereal, yoghurt, juice, full English, toast, tea & coffee all included. I enjoyed the kettle in my room so I could make tea whenever I wanted. The microwave and fridge in the hallway were very handy.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

like home. Our twin room was spacious and extremely clean, offering a comfortable environment. Breakfast was a standout, offering both traditional and lighter options. Just a slight downside was the noise from outside during the night, but nothing too disruptive.

The stay was fantastic with spacious rooms and a delightful breakfast selection. Our beloved pet was welcomed, which was a huge plus. Tim and Lesley's hospitality made us feel like family, and the warm atmosphere really made our trip special.

My wife says that a little more soundproofing would enhance the overall experience.

Had a lovely stay with a warm, cozy room and a nice selection of teas and snacks waiting for me. There are great spots to unwind, like the charming garden and cozy lounge area. Just a heads up, the bathroom fan was a bit noisy, but it didn't ruin the great experience. 😄

I stayed in a Double Room with Private Bathroom for one night, and it was really comfy. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep, and the room size was great too. I loved having tea and coffee facilities and fresh towels. Plus, the breakfast was a delicious highlight, with a great selection cooked to order. The decor added a nice local touch, making it feel cozy. no complaints!
